Last Friday`s Pink Shirt Day
CELEBRATING PINK SHIRT DAY - KINDNESS DOES MATTER
Thank you to everyone that wore pink last Friday to celebrate being kind. At Welbourn, when we celebrate ‘Pink Shirt Day’ it is to remind us how important kind words and actions are. The Student Council did a great job organising the assembly and activities on the day. One of the activities was to design a bookmark to celebrate being kind.
The winners were: Eva R7 and Portia R10. The runners up were: McKenzie R3 (away for the photo) and Finn R13. Congratulations !

Wellbeing Corner

Wellbeing & The 6 Pillars
At Welbourn we value wellbeing for our tamariki, staff & whanau community. We often refer to the 6 pillars of wellbeing. This week`s Social and Emotional corner is for the adults. Oxygen mask for us as coaches of our tamariki, which is an important understanding to have.
We thought it may be of interest to you, so we shall share one of these six pillars with you this week.
‘’CHILL” - Calm the Body & mind. Be present.
Ways in which you can achieve this are; practice deep breathing, pause & connect with all five senses, do some stretching or immerse yourself in nature. Relaxation comes in many forms and is key to stress management. Find out why you need to make time to chill daily.
