At Welbourn School, our priority is to create an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. Childhood is a precious stage of growth and discovery, and we share the responsibility of nurturing and guiding our tamariki to become confident, capable learners and kind, connected individuals.
The vision and values of our kura are Manaakitanga, Kiatiakitanga, Hauora - Together, we care, we protect, we thrive.
We are proud to be a contributing primary school of around 340 tamariki, nestled beside the Te Hēnui bush reserve and close to Pukekura Park and our neighbouring kura. Our dedicated staff, supportive Board, and active Home & School group all work in partnership to provide the very best for our learners.
Our school motto, “Make good choices, be fair, care and share”, captures the values our tamariki strive to show in their learning and their relationships with others. By fostering open communication and genuine partnership between home and school, we can give every child the best possible start in life, laying the foundation for future success, well-being, and belonging.
Nō reira, nau mai, haere mai – we warmly welcome you to be part of our learning journey.

We hope that our website has all the information you require. You can also contact us by emailing office@welbourn.school.nz
